Acts 15:12-14

12 The whole group kept quiet[a] and listened to Barnabas and Paul while they explained all the miraculous signs[b] and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. 13 After they stopped speaking,[c] James replied,[d] “Brothers, listen to me. 14 Simeon[e] has explained[f] how God first concerned himself[g] to select[h] from among the Gentiles[i] a people for his name.

- Acts 15:14 sn In the Greek text the expression “from among the Gentiles” is in emphatic position.

New International Version
12 The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders(A) God had done among the Gentiles through them.(B) 13 When they finished, James(C) spoke up. “Brothers,” he said, “listen to me. 14 Simon[a] has described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles.(D)
