15 and saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like [a]passions with you, and bring you good tidings, that ye should turn from these vain things unto a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that in them is: 16 who in the generations gone by suffered all the [b]nations to walk in their own ways. 17 And yet he left not himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you from heaven rains and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.

15 “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human,(A) like you. We are bringing you good news,(B) telling you to turn from these worthless things(C) to the living God,(D) who made the heavens and the earth(E) and the sea and everything in them.(F) 16 In the past, he let(G) all nations go their own way.(H) 17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony:(I) He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons;(J) he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”(K)
