⁴² And as ^[a]Paul and Barnabas were leaving, the people kept pleading that these words might be spoken to them the next ^(A)Sabbath.

Many Gentiles Believe

⁴⁴ And the next ^(A)Sabbath, nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of ^[a]the ^[b]Lord.

¹³ And on ^(A)the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to a riverside, where we were supposing that there would be a place of prayer; and sitting down, we began speaking to the women who had assembled.

² And ^(A)according to Paul’s custom, he went to them, and for three ^(B)Sabbaths reasoned with them from ^(C)the Scriptures,

⁴ And he was reasoning ^(A)in the synagogue every ^(B)Sabbath and trying to persuade both ^(C)Jews and Greeks.
