37 You know the matter[a] having taken place throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism which John proclaimed[b], 38 as to Jesus from Nazareth— how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power; Who went about doing-good and healing all the ones being oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of everything which He did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem; Whom indeed they killed, having hung Him on a cross.

37 You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— 38 how God anointed(A) Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing(B) all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.(C)
39 “We are witnesses(D) of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a cross,(E)

37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
