Acts 10:2-4

2 a devout man (A)who feared God with all his household, gave alms generously to the people, and prayed continually to God. 3 (B)About the ninth hour of the day[a] (C)he saw clearly in a vision (D)an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.” 4 And he stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms (E)have ascended (F)as a memorial before God.

Acts 10:2-4
New International Version
2 He and all his family were devout and God-fearing;(A) he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. 3 One day at about three in the afternoon(B) he had a vision.(C) He distinctly saw an angel(D) of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!”
4 Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked.
The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering(E) before God.(F)
