Acts 10:2-4

2 He was devout and God-fearing, as was his entire family. He gave generous gifts to the poor and always prayed to God.
3 One day at about the ninth hour,[a] he clearly saw a vision in which an angel of God came to him and said, “Cornelius!”
4 Cornelius stared at him in terror and replied, “What is it, Lord?”
The angel told him, “Your prayers and your gifts to the poor have gone up as a memorial offering before God.

2 He and all his family were devout and God-fearing;(A) he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. 3 One day at about three in the afternoon(B) he had a vision.(C) He distinctly saw an angel(D) of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!”
4 Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked.
