¹⁶ The depths of the sea became visible,
the foundations of the world were exposed
at the rebuke of the Lord,
at the blast of the breath^(A) of His nostrils.^(B)

⁹ He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up;
He led them through the depths as through a desert.^(A)

² Why was no one there when I came?
Why was there no one to answer when I called?
Is My hand too short to redeem?^(A)
Or do I have no power to deliver?
Look, I dry up the sea by My rebuke;^(B)
I turn the rivers into a wilderness;
their fish rot because of lack of water
and die of thirst.
