2 Timothy 4:13-15

13 (A) When you come, bring the coat I left at Troas with Carpus. Don't forget to bring the scrolls, especially the ones made of leather.[a]
14 (B) Alexander, the metalworker, has hurt me in many ways. But the Lord will pay him back for what he has done. 15 Alexander opposes what we preach, so you had better watch out for him.

- 4.13 the ones made of leather: A scroll was a kind of rolled up book, and it could be made out of paper (called “papyrus”) or leather (that is, animal skin) or even copper.

13 When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas,(A) and my scrolls, especially the parchments.
14 Alexander(B) the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has done.(C) 15 You too should be on your guard against him, because he strongly opposed our message.
