15 [a]This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia, be turned from me: of which sort are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
16 The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus: for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain,
17 But when he was at Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.

16 May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus,(C) because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed(D) of my chains.(E) 17 On the contrary, when he was in Rome, he searched hard for me until he found me.
