8 taking vengeance with flaming fire(A) on those who don’t know God(B) and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.(C) 9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction(D) from the Lord’s presence(E) and from His glorious strength(F) 10 in that day when He comes(G) to be glorified(H) by His saints(I) and to be admired by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.

8 He will punish(A) those who do not know God(B) and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.(C) 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction(D) and shut out from the presence of the Lord(E) and from the glory of his might(F) 10 on the day(G) he comes to be glorified(H) in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.(I)
