13 (A)He shall build a house for my name, and (B)I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 14 (C)I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son. When he commits iniquity, (D)I will discipline him with the rod of men, with the stripes of the sons of men, 15 (E)but my steadfast love will not depart from him, (F)as I took it from Saul, whom I put away from before you.

13 He is the one who will build a house(A) for my Name,(B) and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.(C) 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son.(D) When he does wrong, I will punish him(E) with a rod(F) wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands. 15 But my love will never be taken away from him,(G) as I took it away from Saul,(H) whom I removed from before you.
