2 (A)and led them to Baalah[a] in Judah, in order to bring from there God's Covenant Box, bearing the name of the Lord Almighty, whose throne is above the winged creatures.[b] 3 (B)They took it from Abinadab's home on the hill and placed it on a new cart. Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were guiding the cart, 4 with Ahio walking in front.

2 He and all his men went to Baalah[a](A) in Judah to bring up from there the ark(B) of God, which is called by the Name,[b](C) the name of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned(D) between the cherubim(E) on the ark. 3 They set the ark of God on a new cart(F) and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill.(G) Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were guiding the new cart 4 with the ark of God on it,[c] and Ahio was walking in front of it.

5 (A)So David assembled the people of Israel from all over the country, from the Egyptian border in the south to Hamath Pass in the north, in order to bring the Covenant Box from Kiriath Jearim to Jerusalem. 6 (B)David and the people went to the city of Baalah, that is, to Kiriath Jearim, in the territory of Judah, to get the Covenant Box of God, which bears the name of the Lord enthroned above the winged creatures. 7 At Abinadab's house they brought out the Covenant Box and put it on a new cart. Uzzah and Ahio guided the cart,

5 So David assembled all Israel,(A) from the Shihor River(B) in Egypt to Lebo Hamath,(C) to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.(D) 6 David and all Israel went to Baalah(E) of Judah (Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim(F)—the ark that is called by the Name.
7 They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s(G) house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it.
