2 Samuel 5:3-5
New International Reader's Version
3 All the elders of Israel came to see King David at Hebron. There the king made a covenant with them in front of the Lord. They anointed David as king over Israel.
4 David was 30 years old when he became king. He ruled for 40 years. 5 In Hebron he ruled over Judah for seven and a half years. In Jerusalem he ruled over all of Israel and Judah for 33 years.

New International Version
3 When all the elders of Israel had come to King David at Hebron, the king made a covenant(A) with them at Hebron before the Lord, and they anointed(B) David king over Israel.
4 David was thirty years old(C) when he became king, and he reigned(D) forty(E) years. 5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months,(F) and in Jerusalem he reigned over all Israel and Judah thirty-three years.
