    my saviour; you save me from violence.

¹² For you ^(A)bless the righteous, O Lord;
    you ^(B)cover him with favour as with ^(C)a shield.

²⁰ Our soul ^(A)waits for the Lord;
    he is our ^(B)help and ^(C)our shield.

¹¹ Kill them not, lest my people forget;
    make them totter^[a] by your power and ^(A)bring them down,
    O Lord, our ^(B)shield!
