11 When she brought them to him to eat, he grabbed her and said,[a] “Come sleep with me, my sister!”
12 “Don’t, my brother!” she cried. “Don’t disgrace(A) me, for such a thing should never be done in Israel.(B) Don’t commit this outrage!(C) 13 Where could I ever go with my humiliation? And you—you would be like one of the outrageous fools in Israel! Please, speak to the king, for he won’t keep me from you.”

12 “No, my brother!” she said to him. “Don’t force me! Such a thing should not be done in Israel!(C) Don’t do this wicked thing.(D) 13 What about me?(E) Where could I get rid of my disgrace? And what about you? You would be like one of the wicked fools in Israel. Please speak to the king; he will not keep me from being married to you.”
