24 Now Jehu [a]drew his bow with full strength and shot Jehoram between his arms; and the arrow came out at his heart, and he sank down in his chariot.

24 Then Jehu drew his bow(A) and shot Joram between the shoulders. The arrow pierced his heart and he slumped down in his chariot.

27 But when Ahaziah king of Judah saw this, he fled by the road to [a]Beth Haggan. So Jehu pursued him, and said, [b]“Shoot him also in the chariot.” And they shot him at the Ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. Then he fled to (B)Megiddo, and died there.

New International Version
27 When Ahaziah king of Judah saw what had happened, he fled up the road to Beth Haggan.[a] Jehu chased him, shouting, “Kill him too!” They wounded him in his chariot on the way up to Gur near Ibleam,(A) but he escaped to Megiddo(B) and died there.
