22 Now it happened that when [a]Joram saw Jehu, he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” And he [b]answered, “What peace, (A)so long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her sorceries are so many?” 23 So [c]Joram [d]turned about and fled and said to Ahaziah, “(B)There is deception, O Ahaziah!” 24 And (C)Jehu [e]drew his bow with his full strength and struck [f]Joram between his arms; and the arrow went [g]through his heart and he crouched down in his chariot.

New International Version
22 When Joram saw Jehu he asked, “Have you come in peace, Jehu?”
“How can there be peace,” Jehu replied, “as long as all the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother Jezebel(A) abound?”
23 Joram turned about and fled, calling out to Ahaziah, “Treachery,(B) Ahaziah!”
24 Then Jehu drew his bow(C) and shot Joram between the shoulders. The arrow pierced his heart and he slumped down in his chariot.
