27 He walked in the way of Ahab’s house, and did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, as did Ahab’s house; for he was the son-in-law of Ahab’s house. 28 He went with Joram the son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth Gilead, and the Syrians wounded Joram. 29 King Joram returned to be healed in Jezreel from the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.

27 He followed the ways of the house of Ahab(A) and did evil(B) in the eyes of the Lord, as the house of Ahab had done, for he was related by marriage to Ahab’s family.
28 Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead.(C) The Arameans wounded Joram; 29 so King Joram returned to Jezreel(D) to recover from the wounds the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramoth[a] in his battle with Hazael(E) king of Aram.
Then Ahaziah(F) son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to see Joram son of Ahab, because he had been wounded.
