14 Elisha said, “(A)As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look at you nor see you. 15 But now (B)bring me a minstrel.” And it came about, when the minstrel played, that (C)the hand of the Lord came upon him. 16 He said, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Make this valley full of trenches.’

14 Elisha said, “As surely as the Lord Almighty lives, whom I serve, if I did not have respect for the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not pay any attention to you. 15 But now bring me a harpist.”(A)
While the harpist was playing, the hand(B) of the Lord came on Elisha 16 and he said, “This is what the Lord says: I will fill this valley with pools of water.
