This happened at the Lord's command, in order to banish the people of Judah from his sight because of all the sins that King Manasseh had committed, and especially because of all the innocent people he had killed. The Lord could not forgive Manasseh for that.

Surely these things happened to Judah according to the Lord’s command,(A) in order to remove them from his presence(B) because of the sins of Manasseh(C) and all he had done, including the shedding of innocent blood.(D) For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord was not willing to forgive.(E)

As for the other events of Jehoiakim’s reign,(F) and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
