²⁶In spite of all that, the Lord did not turn from the fury of His great burning anger, which burned against Judah because of all that Manasseh had provoked Him with.^(A) ²⁷For the Lord had said, “I will also remove Judah from My sight just as I have removed Israel.^(B) I will reject this city Jerusalem, that I have chosen, and the temple about which I said, ‘My name will be there.’”^(C)

²⁶Nevertheless, the Lord did not turn away from the heat of his fierce anger,^(A) which burned against Judah because of all that Manasseh^(B) had done to arouse his anger. ²⁷So the Lord said, “I will remove^(C) Judah also from my presence^(D) as I removed Israel, and I will reject^(E) Jerusalem, the city I chose, and this temple, about which I said, ‘My Name shall be there.’^[a]”
