2 And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand nor to the left.
3 And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, [that] the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of Jehovah, saying,
4 Go up to Hilkijah the high priest, that he may sum up the money which is brought into the house of Jehovah, which the doorkeepers have gathered of the people,

New International Version
2 He did what was right(A) in the eyes of the Lord and followed completely the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right(B) or to the left.
3 In the eighteenth year of his reign, King Josiah sent the secretary, Shaphan(C) son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, to the temple of the Lord. He said: 4 “Go up to Hilkiah(D) the high priest and have him get ready the money that has been brought into the temple of the Lord, which the doorkeepers have collected(E) from the people.
