^20 (A)Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah and all his might, and how he ^(B)made the pool and the conduit and brought water into the city, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

³ and he took counsel with his commanders and his warriors to stop up the supply of water from the springs which were outside the city, and they helped him. ⁴ So many people gathered ^(A)and stopped up all the springs and ^(B)the stream which flowed in the midst of the land, saying, “Why should the kings of Assyria come and find abundant water?”
