Sennacherib’s Defeat and Death
35 That very night the angel of the Lord set out and struck down one hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians; when morning dawned, they were all dead bodies. 36 Then King Sennacherib of Assyria left, went home, and lived at Nineveh.

35 That night the angel of the Lord(C) went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies!(D) 36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria broke camp and withdrew.(E) He returned to Nineveh(F) and stayed there.
