12 Did the gods of those ·people [nations] ·save [rescue; T deliver] them? My ·ancestors [fathers] destroyed them, defeating the cities of Gozan, Haran, and Rezeph, and the people of Eden living in Tel Assar. 13 Where are the kings of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the kings of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivvah?”

14 ·When [After] Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it, he went up to the ·Temple [L house] of the Lord. He spread the letter out before the Lord

12 Did the gods of the nations that were destroyed by my predecessors deliver(A) them—the gods of Gozan,(B) Harran,(C) Rezeph and the people of Eden who were in Tel Assar? 13 Where is the king of Hamath or the king of Arpad? Where are the kings of Lair, Sepharvaim, Hena and Ivvah?”(D)

14 Hezekiah received the letter(F) from the messengers and read it. Then he went up to the temple of the Lord and spread it out before the Lord.
