9 So the king of Assyria listened to him(A) and marched up to Damascus and captured it.(B) He deported its people to Kir(C) but put Rezin to death.

9 The king of Assyria complied by attacking Damascus(A) and capturing it. He deported its inhabitants to Kir(B) and put Rezin to death.
