⁵ Then ^(A)Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to wage war; and they besieged Ahaz, ^(B)but could not ^[a]overcome him.

²⁴ Indeed the military force of the Arameans came with a small number of men; yet ^(A)Yahweh gave a very great military force into their hands, ^(B)because they had forsaken Yahweh, the God of their fathers. Thus they executed judgment on Joash.

Isaiah Sent to King Ahaz

7 Now it happened in the days of ^(A)Ahaz, the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that ^(B)Rezin the king of Aram and ^(C)Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to wage war against it, but ^(D)could not ^[a]conquer it.
