10 Then Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him and (A)struck him before the people and [a]killed him, and reigned in his place. 11 Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel. 12 This is (B)the word of the Lord which He spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.” And so it was.

10 Shallum son of Jabesh conspired against Zechariah. He attacked him in front of the people,[a] assassinated(A) him and succeeded him as king. 11 The other events of Zechariah’s reign are written in the book of the annals(B) of the kings of Israel. 12 So the word of the Lord spoken to Jehu was fulfilled:(C) “Your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”[b]
