21 The people of Judah took Azariah and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah. He was sixteen years old. 22 Azariah built Elath and returned it to Judah, after the king died.

23 In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash, king of Judah, Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, began to rule in Samaria and ruled forty-one years.

21 Then all the people of Judah took Azariah,[a](A) who was sixteen years old, and made him king in place of his father Amaziah. 22 He was the one who rebuilt Elath(B) and restored it to Judah after Amaziah rested with his ancestors.
Jeroboam II King of Israel
23 In the fifteenth year of Amaziah son of Joash king of Judah, Jeroboam(C) son of Jehoash king of Israel became king in Samaria, and he reigned forty-one years.
