24 When Hazael king of Syria died, Ben-hadad his son became king in his place. 25 Then Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again from Ben-hadad the son of Hazael the cities (A)that he had taken from Jehoahaz his father in war. (B)Three times Joash defeated him and recovered the cities of Israel.

24 Hazael king of Aram died, and Ben-Hadad(A) his son succeeded him as king. 25 Then Jehoash son of Jehoahaz recaptured from Ben-Hadad son of Hazael the towns he had taken in battle from his father Jehoahaz. Three times(B) Jehoash defeated him, and so he recovered(C) the Israelite towns.
