13 So Jo′ash slept with his fathers, and Jerobo′am sat upon his throne; and Jo′ash was buried in Samar′ia with the kings of Israel.

14 Now when Eli′sha had fallen sick with the illness of which he was to die, Jo′ash king of Israel went down to him, and wept before him, crying, “My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” 15 And Eli′sha said to him, “Take a bow and arrows”; so he took a bow and arrows.

New International Version
13 Jehoash rested with his ancestors, and Jeroboam(A) succeeded him on the throne. Jehoash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
14 Now Elisha had been suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. “My father! My father!” he cried. “The chariots(B) and horsemen of Israel!”
15 Elisha said, “Get a bow and some arrows,”(C) and he did so.
