Signs of the End

5 “Now concerning the signs: behold, the days are coming when those who inhabit the earth shall be seized with great terror,^[a] and the way of truth shall be hidden, and the land shall be barren of faith.^(A)

²⁰ So I fasted seven days, mourning and weeping, as the angel Uriel had commanded me.^(A)

⁵² He answered me and said, “Concerning the signs about which you ask me, I can tell you in part, but I was not sent to tell you concerning your life, for I do not know.^(A)

³¹ If therefore you will pray again and fast again for seven days, I will again declare to you greater things than these,^[a](A)

The Third Vision

³⁵ Now after this I wept again and fasted seven days in the same way as before, in order to complete the three weeks that had been prescribed for me.^(A)
