2 Corinthians 9:9-11

Good News Translation

⁹^(A)As the scripture says,

“He gives generously to the needy;
his kindness lasts forever.”

¹⁰^(B)And God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity. ¹¹He will always make you rich enough to be generous at all times, so that many will thank God for your gifts which they receive from us.

“They have freely scattered their gifts^(A) to the poor;
their righteousness endures forever.”^[a]^(B)

¹⁰Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food^(C) will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.^(D) ¹¹You will be enriched^(E) in every way so that you can be generous^(F) on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.^(G)
