21 We are trying hard to do what both the Lord and people think is right.
22 We are also sending another one of our brothers with them. He has often proved to us in many ways that he is very committed. He is now even more committed because he has great faith in you. 23 Titus is my helper. He and I work together among you. Our brothers are messengers from the churches. They honor Christ.

New International Version
21 For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.(A)
22 In addition, we are sending with them our brother who has often proved to us in many ways that he is zealous, and now even more so because of his great confidence in you. 23 As for Titus,(B) he is my partner(C) and co-worker(D) among you; as for our brothers,(E) they are representatives of the churches and an honor to Christ.
