2 Corinthians 7:6-8
International Children’s Bible
6 But God comforts those who are troubled. And God comforted us when Titus came. 7 We were comforted by his coming and also by the comfort that you gave him. Titus told us about your wish to see me. He told us that you are very sorry for what you did. And he told me about your great care for me. When I heard this, I was much happier.
8 Even if the letter I wrote you made you sad, I am not sorry I wrote it. I know it made you sad, and I was sorry for that. But it made you sad only for a short time.

2 Corinthians 7:6-8
New International Version
6 But God, who comforts the downcast,(A) comforted us by the coming of Titus,(B) 7 and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.
8 Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter,(C) I do not regret it. Though I did regret it—I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while—
