⁴ For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness,^(A) yet he lives by God’s power.^(B) Likewise, we are weak^(C) in him, yet by God’s power we will live with him^(D) in our dealing with you.

¹⁹ and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power^(A) is the same as the mighty strength^{(B) 20} he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead^(C) and seated him at his right hand^(D) in the heavenly realms,^(E)

¹⁰ I want to know^(A) Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings,^(B) becoming like him in his death,^(C)

³⁸ how God anointed^(A) Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing^(B) all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.^(C)

²³ that the Messiah would suffer^(A) and, as the first to rise from the dead,^(B) would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”^(C)
