The Voice
27 I have survived toil and hardships, sleepless nights, hunger and thirst without a crumb in sight, bare to the cold. 28 As if these external trials weren’t enough, there is the daily stress I feel and anxiety I carry for all the churches under my care. 29 Who is weak without this arousing my empathy? Who gets hurt and offended without this inciting my burning anger?

27 I have labored and toiled(A) and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food;(B) I have been cold and naked. 28 Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches.(C) 29 Who is weak, and I do not feel weak?(D) Who is led into sin,(E) and I do not inwardly burn?
