⁴ He comforts us in all our affliction,^[a] so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

²⁹ For it has been granted to you on Christ’s behalf not only to believe^(A) in him, but also to suffer for him,
