²⁴Year after year they came with tribute: objects of silver and gold, clothing, weapons, spices, horses, and mules.

²⁵Solomon also had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, together with twelve thousand horsemen that he kept in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. ²⁶He ruled all the kings from the Euphrates^[a] to the Philistines’ land and the border of Egypt.

²⁴Year after year, everyone who came brought a gift^(A)—articles of silver and gold, and robes, weapons and spices, and horses and mules.

²⁵Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots,^(B) and twelve thousand horses,^[a] which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. ²⁶He ruled^(C) over all the kings from the Euphrates River^(D) to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.^(E)
