2 Chronicles 9:24-26

Amplified Bible

²⁴Each man brought his gift, articles of silver and gold, garments, weapons, spices, horses and mules, so much year by year.

²⁵Now Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses and chariots, and 12,000 horsemen, and he stationed them in the chariot cities or with the king at Jerusalem.^(A) ²⁶He ruled over all the kings from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, and as far as the border of Egypt.

²⁴Year after year, everyone who came brought a gift^(A)—articles of silver and gold, and robes, weapons and spices, and horses and mules.

²⁵Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots,^(B) and twelve thousand horses,^[a] which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. ²⁶He ruled^(C) over all the kings from the Euphrates River^(D) to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.^(E)
