2 Chronicles 7:18-20

18 I will establish the throne of your kingship as I covenanted with David your father when I said, There shall never be wanting someone from your line as ruler in Israel. 19 But if ever you turn away and forsake my commandments and statutes which I set before you, and proceed to serve other gods, and bow down to them, 20 I will uproot the people from the land I gave and repudiate the house I have consecrated for my name. I will make it a proverb and a byword among all nations.

New International Version
18 I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted(A) with David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor(B) to rule over Israel.’(C)
19 “But if you[a] turn away(D) and forsake(E) the decrees and commands I have given you[b] and go off to serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will uproot(F) Israel from my land,(G) which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule(H) among all peoples.
