11 Then a shoot will grow from the stump of Jesse,^(A)
and a branch^(B) from his roots will bear fruit.

²¹ Jacob’s leader will be one of them;
his ruler will issue from him.
I will invite him to Me, and he will approach Me,^(A)
for who would otherwise risk his life to approach Me?
This is the Lord’s declaration.

Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem!
Look, your King is coming to you;
