2 Chronicles 36:19-21
Christian Standard Bible
19 Then the Chaldeans burned God’s temple.(A) They tore down Jerusalem’s wall, burned all its palaces, and destroyed all its valuable articles.
20 He deported those who escaped from the sword to Babylon, and they became servants to him and his sons until the rise of the Persian[a] kingdom.(B) 21 This fulfilled the word of the Lord through Jeremiah,(C) and the land enjoyed its Sabbath rest all the days of the desolation(D) until seventy years were fulfilled.

Isaiah 7:19-25
Christian Standard Bible
19 All of them will come and settle
in the steep ravines, in the clefts of the rocks,(A)
in all the thornbushes, and in all the water holes.
20 On that day the Lord will use a razor(B) hired from beyond the Euphrates River—the king of Assyria(C)—to shave the hair on your heads, the hair on your legs, and even your beards.
21 On that day
a man will raise a young cow and two sheep,
22 and from the abundant milk they give
he will eat curds,
for every survivor in the land will eat curds and honey.(D)
23 And on that day
every place where there were a thousand vines,
worth a thousand pieces of silver,
will become thorns and briers.(E)
24 A man will go there with bow and arrows
because the whole land will be thorns and briers.
25 You will not go to all the hills
that were once tilled with a hoe,
for fear of the thorns and briers.
Those hills will be places for oxen to graze
and for sheep to trample.
Isaiah 7:19-25
New International Version

All who remain in the land will eat curds(K) and honey.(L) 23 In that day,(M) in every place where there were a thousand vines worth a thousand silver shekels,[a](N) there will be only briers and thorns.(O) 24 Hunters will go there with bow and arrow, for the land will be covered with briers(P) and thorns. 25 As for all the hills(Q) once cultivated by the hoe, you will no longer go there for fear of the briers and thorns;(R) they will become places where cattle are turned loose and where sheep run.(S)

The Lord’s Vineyard
2 On that day
sing about a desirable vineyard:(A)
3 I am the Lord, who watches over it
to water it regularly.
So that no one disturbs it,
I watch over it night and day.
4 I am not angry.
If only there were thorns and briers(B) for me to battle,
I would trample them
and burn them to the ground.
5 Or let it take hold of my strength;
let it make peace with me—
make peace with me.
6 In days to come, Jacob will take root.(C)
Israel will blossom and bloom(D)
and fill the whole world with fruit.
Isaiah 27:2-6
New International Version
2 In that day(A)—
“Sing(B) about a fruitful vineyard:(C)
3 I, the Lord, watch over it;
I water(D) it continually.
I guard(E) it day and night
so that no one may harm(F) it.
4 I am not angry.
If only there were briers and thorns confronting me!
I would march against them in battle;
I would set them all on fire.(G)
5 Or else let them come to me for refuge;(H)
let them make peace(I) with me,
yes, let them make peace with me.”
