¹⁹ Then ^(A)they burned the house of God and tore down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its palaces with fire and destroyed all its valuable articles.

²⁷ But ^(A)if you do not listen to Me to keep the sabbath day holy by not carrying a load and coming in through the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day, then ^(B)I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it will ^(C)devour the palaces of Jerusalem and ^(D)not be quenched.”’”

¹³ And he ^(A)burned the house of Yahweh, the ^(B)king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every large house he burned with fire.

⁴⁷ and say to the forest of the Negev, ‘Hear the word of Yahweh: thus says Lord Yahweh, “Behold, I am about to ^(A)kindle a fire in you, and it will consume every ^[a]green tree in you, as well as every dry tree; the blazing flame will not be quenched, and ^[b](B)the whole surface from south to north will be scorched by it. ⁴⁸ And all flesh will see that I, Yahweh, have made it burn; it shall ^(C)not be quenched.”’”
