2 Chronicles 34:32-33

32 And he caused all that were found in Jerusalem, and Benjamin to stand to it: and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the Covenant of God, even the God of their fathers.
33 So Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and compelled all [a]that were found in Israel, to serve the Lord their God: so all his days they turned not back from the Lord God of their fathers.

New International Version
32 Then he had everyone in Jerusalem and Benjamin pledge themselves to it; the people of Jerusalem did this in accordance with the covenant of God, the God of their ancestors.
33 Josiah removed all the detestable(A) idols from all the territory belonging to the Israelites, and he had all who were present in Israel serve the Lord their God. As long as he lived, they did not fail to follow the Lord, the God of their ancestors.
