2 Chronicles 31:2-4
Expanded Bible
2 King Hezekiah ·appointed [organized; assigned] ·groups [divisions] of priests and Levites for their special duties. They were to ·offer [sacrifice] burnt offerings [Lev. 1:1–17] and ·fellowship [or peace; well-being] offerings [Lev. 3:1], to ·worship [serve], and to give thanks and praise at the gates of the Lord’s ·house [L camp]. 3 Hezekiah gave some of his own animals for the burnt offerings [Lev. 1:1–17], which were given every morning and evening, on Sabbath days, during New Moons, and at other feasts ·commanded [prescribed] in the Lord’s ·Teachings [instructions; laws].
4 Hezekiah commanded the people living in Jerusalem to give the priests and Levites the portion ·that belonged to [prescribed for] them. Then the priests and Levites could ·give all their time [devote themselves] to the Lord’s ·Teachings [instructions; laws].

Contributions for Worship(A)
2 Hezekiah(B) assigned the priests and Levites to divisions(C)—each of them according to their duties as priests or Levites—to offer burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, to minister,(D) to give thanks and to sing praises(E) at the gates of the Lord’s dwelling.(F) 3 The king contributed(G) from his own possessions for the morning and evening burnt offerings and for the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, at the New Moons and at the appointed festivals as written in the Law of the Lord.(H) 4 He ordered the people living in Jerusalem to give the portion(I) due the priests and Levites so they could devote themselves to the Law of the Lord.
