14 When they had finished, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada; (A)they made from it articles for the house of the Lord, articles for serving and offering, spoons and vessels of gold and silver. 14 When they had finished, they brought the rest of the money to the king and Jehoiada, and with it were made articles for the Lord’s temple: articles for the service and for the burnt offerings, and also dishes and other objects of gold and silver. In the third month they began laying them in heaps, and they finished in the seventh month. And when Hezekiah and the leaders came and saw the heaps, they blessed the Lord and His people Israel. Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. 10 And Azariah the chief priest, from the (B)house of Zadok, answered him and said, (C)“Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the Lord, we have had enough to eat and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed His people; and what is left is this great (D)abundance.”

The people of Israel and Judah who lived in the towns of Judah also brought a tithe(A) of their herds and flocks and a tithe of the holy things dedicated to the Lord their God, and they piled them in heaps.(B) They began doing this in the third month and finished in the seventh month.(C) When Hezekiah and his officials came and saw the heaps, they praised the Lord and blessed(D) his people Israel.
