So Judah gathered together to ask (A)help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court, and said: “O Lord God of our fathers, are You not (B)God in heaven, and (C)do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and (D)in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?

The people of Judah(A) came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him.

Then Jehoshaphat stood up in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem at the temple of the Lord in the front of the new courtyard and said:

Lord, the God of our ancestors,(B) are you not the God who is in heaven?(C) You rule over all the kingdoms(D) of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you.(E)
