33 However, the high places were not taken away;(A) the people had not yet set their hearts on the God of their ancestors.(B)
34 The rest of the events of Jehoshaphat’s reign from beginning to end are written in the Events of Jehu(C) son of Hanani, which is recorded in the Book of Israel’s Kings.(D)

35 After this,(E) Judah’s King Jehoshaphat made an alliance with Israel’s King Ahaziah, who was guilty of wrongdoing.

33 The high places,(A) however, were not removed, and the people still had not set their hearts on the God of their ancestors.
34 The other events of Jehoshaphat’s reign, from beginning to end, are written in the annals of Jehu(B) son of Hanani, which are recorded in the book of the kings of Israel.
35 Later, Jehoshaphat king of Judah made an alliance(C) with Ahaziah king of Israel, whose ways were wicked.(D)
