2 Chronicles 2:3-5

3 Then Solomon sent word to King Hiram[a](A) of Tyre:(B)
Do for me what you did for my father David. You sent him cedars to build him a house to live in.(C) 4 Now I am building a temple for the name of the Lord my God in order to dedicate it to him for burning fragrant incense before him,(D) for displaying the rows of the Bread of the Presence continuously,(E) and for sacrificing burnt offerings for the morning and the evening,(F) the Sabbaths(G) and the New Moons, and the appointed festivals of the Lord our God. This is ordained for Israel permanently. 5 The temple that I am building will be great, for our God is greater than any of the gods.(H)

3 Solomon sent this message to Hiram[a](A) king of Tyre:
“Send me cedar logs(B) as you did for my father David when you sent him cedar to build a palace to live in. 4 Now I am about to build a temple(C) for the Name of the Lord my God and to dedicate it to him for burning fragrant incense(D) before him, for setting out the consecrated bread(E) regularly, and for making burnt offerings(F) every morning and evening and on the Sabbaths,(G) at the New Moons(H) and at the appointed festivals of the Lord our God. This is a lasting ordinance for Israel.
5 “The temple I am going to build will be great,(I) because our God is greater than all other gods.(J)
